Our Music Ministry

PARISH CHOIR (ADULTS & TEENS)
The Parish Choir is a vibrant, friendly community of music lovers.  They sing for the main worship service at 10 am from September through early June.  The choir is open to all adults and high school students who can attend rehearsals regularly.  The Parish Choir rehearses Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 pm, and from 9 am on Sunday to prepare to lead the 10 am service.  Hymns are from the Hymnal 1982, Wonder, Love & Praise, and Lift Every Voice and Sing.  We value a mixture of musical styles in our worship as we lift our voices in praise.  Choir anthems are selected from the classical, traditional, spiritual or contemporary repertoire.  The Parish Choir always welcomes new members.

 

THE BELL CHOIR
The Bell Choir performs at special worship services throughout the year – Christmas, Easter, and festive days – and is open to adults and teens.  Newer members rehearse throughout the year as needed and experienced ringers join them for a few rehearsals before the service in which they will play.

 

THE CHILDRENS CHOIR

The children of Christ Church sing occasionally as part of the 10 am service, particularly during the Annual Christmas Pageant.
